By using Whatbot, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before using our Chrome extension.
1 Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the Whatbot Chrome extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Whatbot.
2 Description of Service
Whatbot is a Chrome extension that provides AI-powered summarization of WhatsApp Web conversations. The service:
- Reads messages from your currently open WhatsApp Web chat
- Sends message content to AI providers for summarization
- Displays summaries within the WhatsApp Web interface
- Stores summaries locally on your device
3 User Responsibilities
As a user of Whatbot, you agree to:
- Use the extension only for lawful purposes
- Obtain consent from chat participants if required by your jurisdiction
- Keep your API keys secure and confidential
- Not use the service to process sensitive or confidential business information without appropriate safeguards
4 Subscription & Billing
Whatbot offers a free trial and paid subscription plans:
- Free Trial: 7 days of unlimited access with no credit card required
- Monthly Plan: Billed monthly, cancel anytime
- Annual Plan: Billed yearly at a discounted rate
Subscriptions are processed through LemonSqueezy. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
5 Refund Policy
We offer refunds under the following conditions:
- Full refund within 7 days of purchase if unsatisfied
- Pro-rated refund for annual plans cancelled within 30 days
- No refunds for monthly plans after the billing period has started

6 Third-Party Services
Whatbot integrates with third-party AI providers. By using Whatbot, you also agree to:
- OpenAI's Terms of Service and Usage Policies (if using OpenAI)
- Anthropic's Terms of Service (if using Claude)
- Google's Terms of Service (if using Gemini)
You are responsible for any costs associated with your API usage with these providers.
7 Intellectual Property
The Whatbot extension, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by Whatbot. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the extension code
- Reverse engineer or decompile the extension
- Use our branding without permission
8 Disclaimer of Warranties
Whatbot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that summaries will be 100% accurate. AI-generated summaries should be verified for critical decisions.
9 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Whatbot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.
10 Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the extension. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11 Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Whatbot at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using Whatbot at any time by uninstalling the extension.
12 Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
